VBA Scripting in MS-Excel(Macros)

Good Morning,

I want to write a VBA Script in MS-Excel Macros such that i could validate a cell for the following condition:
1. Accept only Numbers and characters(in any order)(eg: "48DF" or "RF87" )
2. Should not accept
* Empty spaces
* Special characters (except '_' and '-')
* Symbols as the first letter(eg: "_A1" or "-45C")

Can anyone help me in this issue.

Also I need reference books for VBA scripting in MS-Excel(Macros)
